The Sweep
It’s important for Sean Boyle & Son to deliver high quality and the best possible chimney sweep service to all our customers in Bristol and beyond. We pride ourselves on cleanliness, efficiency and value for money.
The area to be swept is first covered to avoid any escaping soot, a vacuum is on hand and the mouth of the fire place or opening to your burner can be blocked. There are differing rods used depending on the job, along with different sized brushes and a rotary (powered) sweep. A standard sweep takes on average, close to an hour.
If for reasons beyond my control a sweep is not possible, such as a damaged stove or chimney, a minimum call out charge may apply, usually half the price of a standard sweep. Any issues found while sweeping will always be reported and you will be advised accordingly.

The Santa Sweep
The positive feedback received for the Santa Sweep has been quite overwhelming. Thank you everybody.
After taking a break in 2020, The Santa Sweep will most definitely be back for 2021. Watch this space!
Handyman & Gardening Services
In addition to our sweeping services, Seán Boyle & Son undertake various handyman and gardening jobs along with property maintenance in and around Bristol.
Recently this has included jobs ranging from installing a basketball hoop through to erecting a badger proof fence, quite a range!
I've dug ponds, painted houses, cut trees, washed windows, and cleared overgrown gardens. I've erected curtain rails, repaired broken furniture and leaking guttering, laid patios, turf and landscaped gardens.
